Ince declines Cardiff offer

Blackpool winger Tom Ince has turned down the chance to join Premier League new boys Cardiff City, Sky Sports understands.

The England under 21 had asked to be given until Friday to decide whether or not to consider the Welsh sides offer, after a fee of £8million had been agreed between the two clubs.

The Bluebirds have said on Twitter that Ince has opted to remain in the North West to be close to his new born child.

Liverpool, the club where Ince began his career, were linked with a move for the 21 year old during the January transfer window, though their interest has waned as they have been pursuing other targets.

He played just fifteen minutes for the Reds, in a League Cup tie against Northampton Town in 2010, before moving to Blackpool via a brief loan spell with Notts County, where he linked up with his father Paul, who currently manages the Tangerines.
