(GSM) – Paul Ince has announced that he will leave MK Dons at the end of the current season. With this move, Ince would be leaving the club for a second time in his short managerial career.
The 42-year-old only rejoined the Coca-Cola League One side last summer. However, the club was expected to mount a serious challenge for promotion but the Dons did not manage to make it to the play-offs after a run of poor results.
Reports say that the former England captain, who had an unsuccessful managerial stint at Blackburn, was set to be sacked with the club looking to cut its costs.
And Ince has decided to resign and leave the club before getting the sack. However, he will be the manager of the club during the team’s last four league games as he will be leaving in May.
