Ings set for Liverpool exit

Sky Sports understands that Danny Ings will leave Liverpool this summer in search of regular first team football.

The Merseyside outfit had been keen for the twenty-five-year-old to remain at the club and offered him a new long-term deal however after an injury-ravaged spell at Anfield he is set to move on.

Burnley, who sold him to Liverpool in the summer of 2015 are among the sides to have been linked with a move for the striker in recent transfer windows along with fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and German outfit RB Leipzig.

Ings has made just twenty-five appearances for the Reds, scoring four goals – the last of which coming in a 2-2 draw at West Bromwich Albion towards the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Prior to his switch to Liverpool he scored forty-three goals in one hundred and thirty appearances for Burnley while internationally has won one senior cap for England.
