Spanish midfield maestro Andres Iniesta opened up on his Barcelona future admitting he could leave Camp Nou at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old veteran signed a lifetime contract with Barcelona earlier this season but is not expected to finish his season with the Catalan giants.
Andres Iniesta has already been linked with a number of lucrative moves to China and it’s an option the experienced midfielder is currently thinking about.
Speaking to the media following his team’s 3-0 Champions League win over Chelsea last night Iniesta confirmed that the final decision on his future will be made before the end of April.
“It’s a decision I have to make, whether I stay or leave. Those are the two options. I’ll make my decision in the next few weeks and my stance hasn’t changed since I renewed my contract.”, he said.
Iniesta spent his entire professional career with Barcelona where he made more than 430 La Liga appearance since his first-team debut in 2002.
