Injured Barcelona duo out for couple of weeks

Barcelona players Maxwell and Bojan Krkic left the field with an injury on Monday Night during the game against Sporting Gijon.

Barca will have to do without the duo for a couple of weeks. Krkic suffers from a muscle rupture in his calf, while Maxwell struggles with a thigh injury.

Nineteen-year old Krkic, who opened the score against Gijon (3-0 win), won’t be able to play for three weeks.

Maxwell’s injury disables the left back to play for his new club Barcelona for two weeks, according to the club’s medical staff.
