(GSM) – Sevilla received some worrying news from the treatment table after their win over Atletico Madrid (3-1), yesterday. Luis Fabiano, who scored the opener, sustained an ankle injury just before half time and is unlikely to play against Racing Santander on Wednesday.

Fabiano already revealed that his injury is not too serious and calmed the fans by stating that he has targeted a return against Barcelona, this Sunday.

“I am going to try to play this weekend,” the Brazilian striker said at the club’s official website. “At first I scared myself because I felt a lot of pain, but I already feel much better, it hurts a lot less.

“I will definitely be at the (cup)final. I am going to try and play against Barcelona. Tomorrow they are going to carry out some tests but I am already feeling better.”
