Inter technical director Marco Branca has confirmed that the Neroazzurri are tracking Porto midfielder Fernando.
The 24-year-old was widely tipped to leave the Dragons in the summer, but he eventually stayed at Dragao.
The Brazilian is currently tracked by a host of big European clubs, with Inter the latest club to confirm interest in the player.
“Of course I know him. I have seen him playing many times, just like all the Porto players,” Marco Branca told O Jogo.
“Fernando is a great player, he dominates the midfield, but Porto won’t let him go easily, he has a very high asking price.
”I have watched him many times and I know his skills, but only in December will we decide what to do in January.”
