Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Inter Milan have agreed to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Swiss hotshot arrives on loan until the end of the season, with the Nerazzurri obliged to purchase his contract in the summer.
Shaqiri has skipped training in Munich in order to complete his switch to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, with the deal set to be made official by the end of the day.
Premier League side Stoke City recently expressed their interest in the Switzerland international, but Inter, nonetheless, managed to secure the footballer’s signature.
Shaqiri becomes club’s second signing of the January transfer window, with Lukas Podolski having previously arrived on loan from Arsenal.
The 23-year-old, who has bagged 11 goals in 52 Bundesliga outings for Bayern Munich, was desperate to leave Alianz Arena in search of first team football and no doubt he will be a great signing for the Nerazzurri.
