Inter Milan and Juventus have both expressed interest in signing Marcelo from Real Madrid, but they see the wages he earns playing for the Spanish giants as a big obstacle, according to AS.
The 32-year-old left-back was previously keen on staying at the Santiago Bernabeu, but this time around he has apparently been willing to listen to offers as he lost his place in the starting XI under Zinedine Zidane to Ferland Mendy. Real also have Sergio Reguilon contending for the spot on the left defensive flank, with his future yet to be resolved after a hugely successful loan spell at Sevilla.
Marcelo is apparently keen on a reunion with former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin and the Serie A title holders have already contacted his representatives, while Inter have also made inquiries about his availability. But the €8 million net he gets for his services in Madrid are a prohibiting factor for both clubs.
