Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Serie A rivals Inter Milan and AS Roma are locked in the battle for Ajax forward Arkadiusz Milik.
The Poland international is certain to leave Amsterdam ArenA for a bigger club after enjoying yet another impressive season in Dutch Eredivisie.
And while Lazio were the first Italian club to show interest in his services, the latest reports claim that Inter Milan and AS Roma have emerged as the main candidates for his signature.
It is believed that Ajax would consider offers in the region of €20 million, obviously looking to sell their prized asset to the highest bidder.
Milik has been in stunning form last season, having managed 24 goals and 12 assists in 42 competitive appearances for the Amsterdammers.
The 22-year-old will be in the starting line-up when Poland take on Northern Ireland on Sunday, with his side 8/11 to claim maximum points.
