Inter Milan have made Torino defender Matteo Darmian their primary transfer target, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini is determined to have high-quality players in two full-back positions and aim to address the issue in the summer transfer window.
While Davide Santon will soon see his loan deal turned into permanent move, Mancini also wants Matteo Darmian to play on the other flank.
Luring the Italy starlet to Giuseppe Meazza will be no easy task considering that Napoli and few other top sides are keen as well, but the Nerazzurri are prepared to make a real effort.
Matteo Darmian has become one of Italy’s most sought-after footballers and he is already a first team regular in the national team.
Everything suggests the 25-year-old will be leaving Torino for greener pastures in the summer, with Napoli and Inter leading the chase for his signature at the moment.
