Inter are on the verge of signing Atalanta winger Ezequiel Schelotto and Catania playmaker Francesco Lodi, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Having been impressed by team’s performances in the first part of the season, Inter owner Massimo Moratti has decided to further help his side by reinforcing the squad with several quality players in January.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter are close to reaching an agreement with Atalanta over the purchase of winger Ezequiel Schelotto.
The Neroazzurri have offered €5 million for the highly rated full-back, while Orobici are holding out for €8 million, but it is believed the two sides are not that far from striking a deal.
Another player that Inter officials have set their minds on is Catania’s Francesco Lodi, with the Giuseppe Meazza outfit making a bid in the region of €2 million for the player’s services.
Signing a player who has scored 4 goals and set up another 3 in 19 Serie A appearances this term might prove to be a tough task given that the Elephants are not interested in selling their prized asset in January.
