Inter confirm talks for Lavezzi; Dong-Wong Ji on Dortmund radar

hot-transfer-newsInter confirm talks for Lavezzi

Inter Milan have officially confirmed their interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with a January move for former Napoli star, and they have finally admitted they are keen on the Argentine footballer.

Sporting director Piero Ausilio has suggested that the club officials are already working on the deal taking Ezequiel Lavezzi to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

“Do we want Lavezzi? Yes, we are working on it,” Ausilio confessed to Sky Sport Italia.

Ezequiel Lavezzi has failed to prove his worth at Parc des Princes and is no longer considered a first team regular at PSG.

As a result, he is looking to leave the Saints and return to Italian Serie A, with Inter Milan clearly the favourites for his signature.

Dong-Wong Ji on Dortmund radar

German newspaper Bild understands that Borussia Dortmund are considering a January bid for Sunderland forward Dong-Wong Ji.

The 22-year-old has been struggling for playing time since arriving at the Stadium of Light from Chunnam Dragons, but he did manage to impress while on loan spell at Augsburg last season.

Some excellent displays in German Bundesliga saw the Korean caught the eye of Borussia Dortmund, with the Millionaires set to step up their interest in the winter transfer window.

Dong-Wong Ji managed to score 5 goals in 17 Bundesliga starts for Augsburg and he seems to have done enough to earn himself a big club move.

With the player making just 4 Premier League appearances this season, chances are that he will be allowed to leave if the price is right.

Ji has a contract until June 2015 at the Stadium of Light, but it looks as though he will quit the Black Cats as early as January.

Jeremy Menez available for €3.5m

Paris Saint-Germain winger Jeremy Menez has been priced at mere €3.5 million ahead of the January transfer window, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Frenchman looks set to quit Parc des Princes in search of first team football, with a return to Italy on the cards.

And with his current deal set to expire at the end of the campaign, it has been revealed that the Saints will only require €3.5 million for his services.

At the moment, Inter Milan and Juventus are thought to be leading the chase, but other Serie A sides could also join the race.

The 26-year-old is still held in high regard by top Italian clubs having impressed during the three years at AS Roma.

The Giallorossi will be in action later today as they face AC Milan at San Siro, with away win paying 19/10.
