Not even the most faithful Tottenham supporters could have anticipated such a brilliant form from the unlikely hero of theirs Son Heung-Min.
The South Korean has made a blistering start to the 2016-17 season with Tottenham as the 24-year-old forward has scored 4 goals in three Premier League appearances, while he wrote his name on the score sheet once again this week with a winner against CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League.
Son Heung-Min arrived to Tottenham two seasons ago from Bayer Leverkusen and is now establishing himself as an irreplaceable member of Pochettino’s team, but his future could be in doubt due to interest from Inter Milan.
Indonesian businessman and the head of Serie A giants Erick Thohir has considered going for the Korean player in his early days with Inter and Gazzetta dello Sport seem to be suggesting that he could return for Son Heung-Min to make a further break on to the Asian market.
However, Inter’s possible intentions and overall Tottenham’s situation with the Korean forward could be under serious threat as Spurs face great uncertainty over the fact that their player being due to return home to complete a two-year mandatory military service.
