Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has hinted that Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna is on the club’s radar.
The Frenchman will be out of contract in the summer and he has been linked with a switch to Stadio San Paolo.
And Inter official Piero Ausilio has refused to confirm reports, but he hasn’t exactly denied them either.
“Sagna? Why must we always talk about the transfer market….” Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are tracking some players who can be functional to our requirements. It is a moment in which we must observe and plan, seeing who can be most useful.”
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri official has denied interest in Samuel Eto’o, while adding he is satisfied with January moves for Hernanes, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Ruben Botta.
Inter Milan are on the verge of completing a deal for Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic, while they are also being linked with Patrie Evra.
The Nerazzurri will be very active in the summer transfer window as they hope to seriously reinforce the squad, with new owner Erick Thohir set to make considerable funds available.
Inter held title contenders Roma to a goalless draw at Stadio Olimpico yesterday evening and they are 4/7 to defeat Torino next weekend.
