Italian magazine Panorama has learned that Borussia Dortmund are keeping close tabs on Inter Milan midfielders Ricky Alvarez and Mateo Kovacic.
The Millionaires look set to stay without key player Ilkay Gundogan in the summer and they are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements.
According to Panorama, BVB have been monitoring the performances of Inter duo Ricky Alvarez and Mateo Kovacic with a view of luring them to Signal Iduna Park at the end of the campaign.
And while the Argentine footballer has recently reclaimed his place in the starting line-up, his Croatian teammate has seen little playing time of late and could quit Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in search of first team football.
Ricky Alavarez, 25, has managed 4 goals and 7 assists in 22 Serie A outings this term, whereas Mateo Kovacic has made a total of 23 league appearances this season, but only started eight of those games.
