Inter Milan are readying a move for out-of-favour Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala, according to Talksport.
The twenty-six year old has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium since Pep Guardiola was appointed as manager, racking up just three appearances for the Citizens since.
He spent last season on loan at Valencia in La Liga, playing for them thirty-two times and scoring twice though he returned to England at the end of the campaign.
Inter were keen on signing the France international in the summer though a deal could not be agreed, however they are ready to renew their interest once the transfer window reopens.
The former Porto man hasn’t played for his country since last summer’s European Championships in France and a move is likely to be necessary for him to have any chance of adding to his eight senior caps at next summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.
