Italian giants Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on Benfica full-back Nelson Cabral Semedo, according to Tuttosport.
It is no secret that the Nerazzurri are in the market for a right-sided defender, with Danilo D’Ambrosio and Martin Montoya almost certain to leave in January,
The latest reports have suggested that Inter are hot on the trail of Benfica youngster Nelson Semedo, who has enjoyed a bright start to his career at Estadio da Luz.
The Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio watched the 21-year-old in action yesterday evening as he helped the Eagles record a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid at Vicente Calderon.
Argentine forward Angel Correa was also on his radar in yesterday’s match, but Inter are aware the talented footballer may not be available for sale any time soon.
As far as Nelson Semedo is concerned, he has been in fine form during his first ever senior season at Benfica, starting all nine matches this term.
