Italian newspaper Il Giornale has learned that Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on Benfica attacker Eduardo Salvio.
The Nerazzurri are expected to sign a couple of attacking reinforcements in the winter and they have already been linked with the Eagles star Nicolas Gaitan.
According to Il Giornale, his teammate Eduardo Salvio is another player they hope to recruit in the January transfer window.
The good news is that Benfica plan to cash in on one or two star footballers in the winter, but the winger’s €60 million release clause could prove to be a problem.
Eduardo Salvio, 24, has spent last two years at Estadio da Luz, making 45 league appearances and scoring 12 goals in total.
The Argentina international has so far been linked with quite a few top European sides and chances are he will be leaving the Eagles for greener pastures either in January or next summer.
