Inter Milan have shown interest in Aleksandar Kolarov and Matteo Darmian, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
New coach Roberto Mancini has had a meeting with club owner Erick Thohir on Thursday and the pair also discussed January targets among other things.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Manchester City boss plans to launch an assault on former player Aleksandar Kolarov.
The Serbian full-back has been repeatedly linked with a return to Italian Serie A, but it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will be able to prize him away from Etihad.
Should they fail to recruit Kolarov in January, Inter will turn their attention to Italy starlet Matteo Darmian, who is perfectly capable of playing on either side of defence.
Meanwhile, Roberto Mancini has decided to retain the services of Nemanja Vidic in spite of the fact that the experienced defender has had a nightmare start to his career in Italy.
