Inter Milan are weighing up a move for Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra, reports Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri are believed to have agreed to sign the Red Devils captain Nemanja Vidic on a free transfer in the summer, and they aim to lure his teammate to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza as well.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was in London yesterday to watch the game between Arsenal and Manchester United. He has reportedly used the opportunity to open initial talks with Evra’s official representatives.
Patrice Evra will be out of contract in the summer and everything suggests he will not be offered a new deal at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a return to France, where Monaco and PSG are thought to be keen, but there are no doubts he will be tempted by the interest from Inter Milan.
Evra, 32, has amassed a total of 265 Premier League appearances for Manchester United and scored 7 goals in the process.
