Inter Milan are exploring the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Gregory van der Wiel, according to Sky Italia.
It is no secret the Nerazzurri are looking to sign a right-sided full-back and they have recently been linked with Dusan Basta and Mauricio Isla.
However, after failing to lure either of the two footballers to Giuseppe Meazza, they could turn their attention towards Gregory van der Wiel.
It remains to be seen whether PSG will be prepared to sell the player just one year after he arrived at Parc des Princes, but Inter officials are hoping they can at least sign him on a season-long loan.
The Netherlands international has failed to challenge Christophe Jallet for a starting berth in Paris, but he is not yet prepared to leave the Saints with his contract not due to expire until June 2016.
Since joining the club from Ajax last summer, van der Wiel has made a total of 22 Ligue 1 appearances for the Saints.
