The Italian media outlet Sky Sport is reporting that Inter are close to agreeing a deal for the highly-rated Wolfsburg star Ricardo Rodriguez.
The Austrian left-back is a player in high-demand, but Nerazzurri are believed to have agreed personal terms with the player some time ago and they are now on verge of agreeing a deal with the Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Inter are willing to pay €15 million for the transfer fee and additional €4 million in bonuses, which they think will be enough to make the Germans agree to sell. A deal is thought to be close as Wolves attempt to elicit a higher price for the player who is believed to have a €22 million release clause.
The player’s agent Gianluca Di Domenico has arrived in Milan where he will be staying for a couple of days hoping to wrap up a deal for his representative.
The 24-year-old defender has made 19 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring 2 goals during that time for his side.
