Inter hotshot Luc Castaignos has agreed to join Twente, according to the player’s agent.
The Tukkers wasted no time in finding a replacement for forward Luuk de Jong, who completed a €15 million move to Borussia M’gladbach earlier today.
According to Algemen Dagblad, the Dutch giants have agreed to pay Inter €7 million for forward Luc Castaignos.
The forward was also courted by Sporting Lisbon and Feyenoord, but he ultimately decided to accept an offer from Twente.
“But Luc preferred to return to Netherlands,” agent Karim El Atmadi said to Algemen Dagblad.
“Feyenoord were also in the race at first, but the club wanted to hire him on loan. Thus, they were ruled out.”
It was from Feyenoord that the youngster made a switch to Inter Milan last summer, with the Neroazzurri paying €2 million for his services.
However, the 19-year-old decided to search for a new club after starting just one Serie A game last season.
Before joining Inter, Castaignos scored 15 goals in 37 Eredivisie games for Feyenoord.
