Inter Milan are set to launch a fresh assault on Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri have so far signed Nemanja Vidic, Dodo and Yann M’Vila, while Gary Medel is also expected to join in the coming days.
This means that signing a high-profile striker is a priority at the moment and the latest reports suggest Javier Hernandez has become their number one target.
Inter chairman Erick Thohir plans to take advantage of Inter’s clash with Manchester United on Tuesday to inform the Red Devils of their interest and try to agree a deal that would see the Mexican move to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Javier Hernandez has largely struggled for playing time at Old Trafford of late having started mere 15 Premier League games in last two seasons.
He, nonetheless, remains on the radar of Europe’s top clubs and there is a good chance he will be leaving the Red Devils this summer.
