The Mirror understands that Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is set to be offered a two year deal by Inter Milan.
The Serbian’s current deal expires at the end of the season and he is yet to be offered a new contract with the Blues.
Even if he is to be given the opportunity to pen a new deal at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have a policy of handing only twelve month extensions to players over thirty.
However, Inter are willing to put a two year deal on the table, as they look to secure the services of the thirty-one year old who has been in England for the past eight years.
During that time, he has racked up three hundred and twenty-eight appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-one goals while he was won a whole host of major honours.
Chelsea drew with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, and are now priced at 4/1 to finish in the top four.
