Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan are readying a new bid for Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya.
The Nerazzurri decided to offload Davide Santon and will in turn attempt to recruit the Spanish footballer in the summer transfer window.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan officials are negotiating a deal with Barcelona that could be finalised soon.
Namely, the Nerazzurri are prepared to pay €1.5 million for a two-year loan, while they would also be obliged to purchase the player’s contract for additional €6.5 million.
Seeing that Montoya is desperate to leave the club and Barcelona already have Dani Alves and Aleix Vidal on the right flank, chances are they will accept said proposal.
The 24-year-old only made a total of eight La Liga appearances under Luis Enrique, despite doing really well under Tito Vilanova and Gerardo Martino, and he now hopes to leave the club in search of first team football.
