Inter in January bid for Fernando

La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Inter Milan are weighing up a January bid for FC Porto midfielder Fernando.

The Nerazzurri have been keeping close tabs on the Brazilian for a couple of years now, but they never quite managed to lure their long-term target to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Inter are, however, prepared to launch a new assault on the 26-year-old footballer and they are reportedly ready to bid around €8 million.

With Fernando’s current deal at Estadio do Dragao due to expire at the end of the season, everything suggests any serious offer for the midfielder’s services will be considered by the Dragons.

Fernando Francisco Reges has spent last six years at Porto, and it appears he is looking for a new challenge at this moment in time.

The Brazilian’s suitors Inter have enjoyed a bright start to the season and they are 11/4 to achieve a top 3 finish in Serie A.
