Italian giants Inter Milan have made an official proposal for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri appear to have decided to cash in on star player Mauro Icardi, who has been generating plenty of interest of late, with Napoli and Arsenal just some of his suitors.
And with the Argentine set to leave Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Inter have reportedly offered €50 million for PSG star Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan is widely expected to be the team’s first choice centre forward now that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left Parc des Princes, but a return to Italian Serie A may be an interesting proposition.
Namely, Cavani had bagged no fewer than 105 goals in last five league campaigns in Italy, and it remains to be seen whether he will be keen on joining Inter.
Paris Saint-Germain are being linked with a move for Carlos Bacca, but they will want to keep hold of the Uruguayan as well.
