Serie A outfit Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Brazilian midfielder Allan from Udinese, Sport Mediaset has suggested.
It is no secret the Nerazzurri are on the lookout for midfield reinforcements and while the move for Yaya Toure has yet to gain momentum, they are getting closer to recruiting the Zebrette star.
Allan has been on Inter’s radar even before Roberto Mancini had taken over the reigns, but the fact the former Man City boss was full of praise for the 24-year-old following yesterday’s victory at Friuli are enough to suggest he values the midfielder highly as well.
Sport Mediaset has learned that Mancini gave club officials a green light to try and lure the Brazilian to Giuseppe Meazza, with the initial contact already established.
It only remains to be seen what the asking price will be, given that Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo is always prepared to negotiate the sale of every Zebrette player.
