Inter join race for Atletico Madrid midfielder

Inter Milan are probably not going to win Serie A this season after many years of wait, but they do not want to keep waiting for too long. Antonio Conte has made big strides with this team already in his first season at the club and he wants to improve even more for the next campaign. Obviously, his squad was not ideal this year and he will want to improve the overall strength and depth of it.

With both, a big, big help might come in the face of Thomas Partey. According to Diario AS, he is the player Inter will want to sign this summer. The Atletico Madrid midfielder is one of the most important players for Diego Simeone’s side and the Ghanaian could truly massively improve Inter.

Partey is reported to have a buyout clause in his contract at 50 million euros, but Atletico want him to sign a new deal which would see this figure rise, thus making Inter unable to sign him this summer.
