Inter and Jose Mourinho have been given a massive boost as goalkeeper Julio Cesar has been given the all-clear following the injury he picked up against Udinese on Sunday.

Results from this morning’s examinations with the Inter medical staff have shown the goalkeeper has not sustained any serious injury but has suffered just a muscular strain to his right leg. The Brazilian limped off during the 1-0 win at the Stadio Friuli and was replaced by Franceso Toldo.

It’s good news for the Nerazzurri as La Gazzetta Dello Sport claims he could be back in action this weekend against Palermo at San Siro. Earlier reports on Monday suggested he would be out for a month, but that seems unlikely.
