Inter & Juventus want Chiesa

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan and Juventus are both set to battle it out for Federico Chiesa’s signature during the summer transfer window. The 21 year old looks set to depart Fiorentina during the summer, after making a name for himself with the Serie A club. It’s been well known for a while that he was being linked with an exit, but at the same time, a lot of Fiorentina fans were holding out hope that he may end up staying. Alas, it doesn’t seem like that’s going to be the case, especially given the nature of the clubs that are in the running for his signature. Both Inter Milan and Juventus look set to be the two teams contending for the title next season, mainly due to the kind of signings they’re expected to make. With that in mind it would seem pretty foolish for Chiesa to consider going anywhere else in Italy.
