Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez could be the subject of a January move from Inter Milan, Il Corriere dello Sport has learned.
The Nerazzurri are set for a real shopping spree in the winter, with the Uruguayan footballer one of the first names on their hit-list.
With Diego Milito and Ishak Belfodil both struggling for form, Inter believe Gaston Ramirez would be able to form a good attacking partnership with Rodrigo Palacio.
The Uruguayan is open to the possibility of returning to Italian Serie A, having lost his place in the side at St Mary’s.
Given that the 22-year-old has failed to start a single Premier League match this season, it is perfectly clear he will be leaving the Saints in the near future.
Gaston Ramirez already has Serie A experience, having spent two years at Bologna, featuring in 58 league matches and scoring a total of 12 goals in the process.
