Inter Milan plan to recruit one of Antonio Candreva or Federico Bernardeschi, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Nerazzurri appear to have given up on their pursuit of Joao Mario and Gabriel Jesus, and have since turned their attention towards Antonio Candreva.
The Italy international was on the verge of joining Napoli as Lazio accepted a €23 million offer from Stadio San Paolo, but the winger was unable to agree personal terms with the Azzurri.
Inter Milan now hope to lure Candreva to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza instead, but they will not go above €18 million due to the player’s advanced age.
In case they fail to sign the Lazio hotshot, the Nerazzurri will make a move on Fiorentina starlet Federico Bernardeschi, who is widely regarded as one of Italy’s hottest prospects.
Inter are also looking at Domenico Berardi, but will only make their interest concrete in case Sassuolo fail to qualify for the Europa League.
