Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Sevilla centre-half Julien Escude, according to reports.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho is planning to make a move for the French defender in the summer transfer market.
The Frenchman has also previously been linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United.
“I have a contract with Sevilla until 2011 and I like this club,” the 28-year-old told Sky Sports News.
“But when Inter, with one of the best coaches in the world (Jose Mourinho), are interested in you it proves that you are doing something right.
“I have always tried to respect my contracts in football but you never know what could happen.”
