Italian giants Inter Milan are showing interest in Stephan Lichtsteiner and Domenico Criscito, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Nerazzurri failed in their attempt to reinforce the full-back positions in the summer transfer window, but they clearly hope to make things right in January.
Inter Milan are ready to offer Stephan Lichtsteiner an escape route from Turin seeing that the Swiss defender does not seem too keen on playing second fiddle to Dani Alves.
At the same time, the Nerazzurri look set to reignite their interest in long-term target Domenico Criscito, but finding an agreement with his employers will be no easy task.
While Zenit are prepared to negotiate the sale, they want around €15 million for their prized asset, and Inter Milan are highly unlikely to match the asking price.
Domenico Criscito, 29, has spent last four years in Russia, making 107 league appearances for Zenit and scoring 8 goals.
