Italian giants Inter Milan are looking at Dynamo Kiev defender Domagoj Vida, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
It is no secret the Nerazzurri plan to recruit a central defender before the January window closes, with Gremio stopper Rhodolfo their number one target.
But, considering that negotiations with the Brazilian club are not progressing according to plan, Inter officials may be forced to turn to other targets.
As a result, Inter are weighing up a January bid for Dynamo Kiev stopper Domagoj Vida, who can also operate on the right side of defence.
Taking into account that centre-back Marco Andreolli and right-back Danilo D’Ambrosio are currently on the sidelines, the Croatia international could be just what the Nerazzurri need at the moment.
Having played for Dynamo in this year’s Europa League, the 25-year-old would not be eligible to play in Europe this season, but Inter coach Roberto Mancini, nonetheless, believes Vida would be a good addition to the squad.
