Inter Milan have made an official offer to sign Napoli star Ezequiel Lavezzi, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.
The Argentine forward is widely tipped to leave San Paolo at the end of the season and his release clause now stands at €32 million.
Inter have been following the player for a while now, and La Gazzetta dello Sport claims they have made a formal bid for the player’s services.
The Italian newspaper reveals that the offer involves €15 million cash plus full ownership of Goran Pandev and a choice between three Inter players – Andrea Ranocchia, Joel Obi and Marco Faraoni.
Nonetheless, the same source believes Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is only interested in a cash deal and that he won’t settle for anything less than €32 million.
Together with Lazio and Udinese, Inter and Napoli are fighting for the final Champions League berth and should the Neroazzurri win the race their chances of luring Lavezzi to Giuseppe Meazza would increase significantly.
