Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Genoa youngster Pietro Pellegri, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The 16-year-old became the third youngster player to score a Serie A goal as he opened the scoring in the final fixture of the season against AS Roma, and he is already regarded as one of country’s brightest prospects.
While Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Juventus and AC Milan are also keen on his services, latest reports claim that Inter Milan are in pole position.
The Nerazzurri hope to pair Pellegri with their own Andrea Pinamonti, who has shown a great deal of potential playing for club’s youth sides.
The problem is that Genoa chairman Enrico Preziosi wants more than €20 million for the player who only has three senior appearances to his name.
