Inter Milan are in pole position to sign Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic, reports Sky Sport Italia.
The Nerazzurri officials are set to arrive in Manchester to open talks with the Serbian defender over a summer switch to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Juventus, Roma, Napoli, AC Milan and Fiorentina are also believed to be keen, but it would appear as though Inter are leading the race at the moment.
Nemanja Vidic will be out of contract in the summer and everything suggests he will not be offered a new deal at Olf Trafford.
With a number of Italy’s top sides interested in his signature, chances are Serie A will be his next destination.
The 32-year-old has made over 200 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, winning five league titles and one Champions League trophy with the club.
His suitors Inter are hoping to revive their Champions League bid, but they are no less than 14/1 to achieve a top 3 finish.
