Serie A giants Inter Milan have sent promising defender Luca Caldirola out on loan to second-tier club Brescia.
Caldirola, 20, will remain with the Serie B outfit until the end of the season.
Brescia were understood to be looking to add some fresh blood to their squad ahead of the second half of the season, and coach Alessandro Calori has now attained one of the reinforcements he was after.
Caldirola is a product of the Inter youth academy, but has so far been unable to secure regular first-team action at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The Italy Under-21 player was shipped out on loan to Eredivisie side Vitesse in the 2010/11 campaign, returning to Inter at the end of the season.
His only competitive appearance for Inter’s first team to date was the 2-1 Champions League defeat at home to CSKA Moscow in December last year.
