Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Mexican striker Javier Hernandez from Manchester United, according to Il Corriere della Sera.
New boss Erick Thohir has already attracted two marquee signings in Hernanes and Nemanja Vidic, but he is keen to add few more high-profile players in the summer.
Il Corriere della Sera has suggested that the Italian club have already established first contact with the player’s representatives and initial signs have been positive.
It is no secret that Hernandez wants to leave Old Trafford in search of first team football, and he would probably jump at the opportunity to join the Italian giants.
The 25-year-old has only started 4 Premier League fixtures this season, while making another 12 substitute appearances, scoring 2 goals in the process.
