Portuguese newspaper A Bola understands that Inter are planning January swoop for CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda.
The Neroazzurri look set to cash in on Wesley Sneijder after the Dutchman refused a new contract offer and have started the search for his replacement.
A Bola reports that the Italian giants have set their sights on CSKA Moscow playmaker Keisuke Honda.
Honda, 26, was on the verge of joining Lazio in both January and summer transfer window, but CSKA Moscow eventually pulled the plug on the deal.
The midfielder is still believed to be keen on a switch to Italian Serie A and that is something that Inter will be able to provide.
Honda is valued at €15 million, he is younger and is earning less than Wesley Sneijder, so this appear to be a win-win situation for Inter.
The Japan international has been in fine form this season, scoring 6 goals and setting up another 4 in 18 Russian Premier League games.
