The Daily Star understands that Inter Milan are keen on signing Javier Hernandez on loan from Manchester United, before singing him for a fee of £10m.
The Mexico international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, after making just fifteen league starts over the past two seasons.
He was signed by former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson on the back of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and has gone on to score fifty-nine club goals in one-hundred and fifty-two appearances in all competitions.
The 26 year old is currently the joint-third highest goalscorer in Mexico’s history, and he will be hoping to add to his tally of 35 when Miguel Herrera’s side begin their 2014 World Cup campaign against Cameroon on Friday week.
The Mexican’s can be backed at a price of 11/10 to qualify from their group, which also includes Croatia and hosts Brazil.
