Inter Milan are ready to move for Liverpool duo Fabio Borini and Glen Johnson, according to the Express.
Both players have been used sparingly by Reds boss Brendan Rodgers this season, with Johnson making just four league starts and Borini’s one and only start coming in last month’s 3-1 defeat to West Ham United.
Johnson is set to be a free agent in the summer, with talks over a new deal showing no signs of progressing while Borini, who was strongly linked with a permanent move to Sunderland in the summer after a successful loan spell last year, also appears to be surplus to requirements.
Liverpool lost in the league for the fourth time this season on Saturday afternoon, losing 1-0 to a resurgent Newcastle United side.
They are now in seventh place, three points behind fourth place Arsenal and can be backed at 7/4 to finish in the Champions League qualification places.
