A report in Il Corriere dello Sport suggests that Inter are keeping close tabs on three talented players from Argentina.
The Neroazzurri may need to reinforce the squad with experienced players if they are to mount a serious title challenge this season, but the club officials are also planning for the future.
It is for that reason that Inter have been linked with Facundo Ferreyra, Adrian Cirigliano and Gino Peruzzi.
Velez Sarsfield striker Facundo Ferreyra could arrive as a back-up for Diego Milito, although he won’t come on the cheap after scoring 13 goals in 15 league appearances this season.
Adrian Cirigliano, a midfielder who is impressing at River Plate, is also followed closely, as is right-back Gino Peruzzi.
All three players are very young and are predicted a great future, with Inter scouts continuing to monitor their progress.
It is highly unlikely, however, that any of the three footballers will arrive in the January transfer window.
