La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed that Inter Milan are showing interest in Jaime Valdes and Juan Quintero.
It is no secret the Neroazzurri are hoping to sign a new central midfielder in the January transfer window, but their number one target Francesco Lodi looks set to remain at Catania.
It is for that reason that Inter have turned their attention towards Parma playmaker Jaime Valdes.
Valdes, 29, has kick-started his career at Ennio Tardini and has been in fine form this season, but the problem is he is integral to Roberto Donadoni’s plans.
With Parma highly unlikely to sell their key player, Inter may be forced to look elsewhere in their attempt to reinforce the centre of the park.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that Pescara youngster Juan Fernando Quintero is also on their radar, but Delfini are another club not interested in January sale.
As it now appears, Inter will have to wait until the summer to add a new midfielder to their ranks.
