Situation at Tottenham Hotspur is become tougher and tougher. Poor results are still there since the appointment of Jose Mourinho and Jan Vertonghen is being monitored by a couple of clubs. Now another player is being linked with a move abroad – Christian Eriksen.
According to always reliable Gianluca di Marzio, Inter Milan are prepared to wait for the summer transfer window in order to land the Danish playmaker. They also claim that Inter Milan have made the initial contact with the agent of Tottenham midfielder, but also that Spurs would be hoping to cash in now, with six months before the contract ends. This way they would at least recuperate some sum.
The Denmark international is out of contract in London at the end of the season, and is not expected to sign new terms. The Di Marzio report suggests that Spurs would want around 17 million euros for Eriksen.
