Inter Miami are interested in signing Kevin De Bruyne as a free agent when his contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the season, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany. The talks between the MLS side and the representatives of the Belgian veteran have started, but they’re not believed to be in an advance stage at this point, and clubs from Saudi Arabia want his services as well.
De Bruyne, set to turn 34 at the end of June, joined City back in the summer of 2015. Since then, he’s made a total of 415 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions in all competitions, scoring 107 goals and contributing 177 assists. Establishing himself as one of the finest attacking midfielders in the modern game along the way, he has helped Pep Guardiola’s side win six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, three Charity Shields, and one Champions League trophy together with the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
